Commercial Ice Maker Installation. A commercial client reached out to us for a new commercial ice maker installation. We assessed their needs, recommended a suitable model, and executed a seamless installation, including water supply connections and drainage setup. Testing confirmed efficient ice cube production.
Arrived at location on 11/15/21 - There is buildup on the top of the evaporator, distributor, and curtain causing uneven flow across the evaporator. Bridge thickness and cube formation is very uneven as a result and KoolAire machines harvest on a float which will cause it to run until all the water is used which will result in some ice being too thick and some too thin. Will return tomorrow to clean. Returned to location on 11/16/21 - Cleaned and sanitized the ice machine and bin from top to bottom. Disassembled and scrubbed as required. Discarded first batch of ice. Cube size and bridge thickness is very consistent at this time. Bridge thickness is 1/8”. Machine will take at least 24 hours to fill the bin if no ice is being used. Job complete.
HOSHIZAKI Ice Machine - 04/06/21- Dave-Kitchen manager said machine was not making ice and maintenance just cleaned the machine and bin. Turned machine to ice and had a low water alarm. Reset the alarm and still no water to the machine. Found water valve turned off that was feeding the filter. Turned on water and machine started to fill and make ice. Noticed water filter was last changed 12/27/19.. Machine is due for a water filter and proper cleaning after the filter is changed. Maintenance stopped by as it was running and said he still needed to deep clean the machine and asked if we could order a filter and have it shipped directly to them to change. No other issues found with the machine.
