Commercial kitchen equipment is usually built to endure heavy use. For your foodservice business to function effectively, your equipment must be in good working order. Here are a few tips:
- Review your owner’s manuals: it is essential to become acquainted with the restaurant equipment by reading the owner's handbook to learn how to use and maintain your equipment.
- Make repairs right away: after years of usage, parts and components deteriorate. When you detect a damaged or noisy component, it is critical that you have it fixed by a skilled expert.
- Keep your equipment clean and sterilized: this simple tip can help to avoid the accumulation of food particles, dirt, rust and debris, which can lead to equipment failure.

Commercial ovens come in a variety of sizes and forms, but there are three basic concerns that can arise in nearly any kitchen.
- The oven won't heat up or cool down. In such circumstances, changing your industrial oven thermostat may be the only option.
- The pilot light will not ignite. The problem is most likely a faulty thermocouple. If a replacement thermocouple causes the same problem, the safety valve might be to blame. Only a professional technician can make that determination, so if this is your oven problem, contact us at once.
The food comes out fried or frozen. An incorrectly fitted thermostat is most likely the source of this commercial oven hazard. In some situations, a replacement thermostat may be required.
