How do you fix a Blodgett convection oven near Mechanicsburg?

The following are the two most common problems that you may encounter and potential solutions to fix your Blodgett convection oven.

Not heating up:

  • The power switch on the control panel is turned off. This may be fixed by setting the control panel to “cook” or “oven on.”
  • Open oven door(s). Check to see if one or both oven doors are open. Check to see whether the door is obstructed or if the gasket is filthy or broken. It's also possible that a faulty door gasket or hinge is keeping the door from shutting.

Convection fan not running:

  • Open oven door(s). An obstruction, a broken hinge, or a damaged gasket might cause the oven door to split open.
  • Activated convection fan delay. Some devices include a convection fan delay that can be turned on. Deactivating this function will prevent the fan from turning on once it has been delayed.
How do you troubleshoot a walk-in cooler near Mechanicsburg?

If your cooler isn't keeping the correct temperature, here are a few things to look for.

    • Check the cooler's thermostat to see whether it needs to be refrigerated; crank the dial up and down until you hear a clicking sound.
    • Ensure that the rear of the evaporator coil is clean and that there is adequate air movement.
    • Make that the condenser on the roof or above the walk-in cooler is operational.
    • Make sure the condenser coil isn't clogged with debris. If this is the case, switch off the unit and clean it.
  • Make sure the walk-in cooler door is completely closed.

If you’ve tried all of the above and are still having performance issues, contact a walk-in cooler repair specialist for additional help.

Why is my frymaster fryer not heating up?

Check the following if the fryer isn't heating:

  • Unplugged power cord - Reconnect the power cord if it has been knocked out of the outlet.
  • Drain safety valve open - Make sure the drain safety valve is fully closed if it is open.
  • Faulty controller - An authorized technician will need to inspect or repair this part.
  • You should also make sure the gas valve is turned all the way to the ON position on gas models.

If following these basic troubleshooting steps doesn’t solve the problem, your frymaster may need repair. Call a professional for a more in-depth diagnosis.

Why is my Blodgett oven not heating up in Mechanicsburg?

There could be several reasons why a Blodgett oven is not heating up. It could be due to a malfunctioning thermostat, a faulty heating element, a tripped circuit breaker, or a problem with the gas supply (if it's a gas oven). It is best to consult a professional technician or reach out to Blodgett's customer service for troubleshooting and repair assistance to determine the exact cause of the issue and resolve it effectively.

Where is the fuse on a blodgett oven?

The location of the fuse in a Blodgett oven can vary depending on the specific model and configuration. In some cases, the fuse may be located on the control panel or behind a removable panel on the oven. However, it is important to note that not all Blodgett ovens have user-accessible fuses. If you suspect a fuse issue with your Blodgett oven, it is recommended to consult the oven's manual or contact Blodgett's customer support for specific guidance on locating and replacing the fuse.

Where is the pilot light on a blodgett oven?

In most cases, the pilot light can be found near the burner assembly. It is usually a small flame that needs to be lit manually to ignite the oven. However, it's important to note that some modern Blodgett ovens may use electronic ignition systems instead of a traditional pilot light. To determine the exact location and operation of the pilot light on your specific Blodgett oven model, it is recommended to consult the oven's manual or contact Blodgett's customer support for assistance.

Arrived on site on 7/14/21 - Checked out unit and found on arrival that the water symbol was on display and none of the valves were working. Found that the A2 fuse on the board was open. Ohmed out all the solenoids at 4 ohms and nothing to ground. Installed new fuse and ran unit and left cycle for a period of time, there's no problem. Unit ran at 100% steam and couldn’t get anything to fail. Recommend to run it without over night cooking to see if it fails again and what setting it is in. Could be one of the valves shorting out from time to time. Will call John at 8 or 9 to see what he would like to do.

Found Ice Machine evaporator had frozen up so we cleared the ice and checked operation. The cube deflector was out of position and causing ice to back up, but it's hard to say if that caused the freeze up or if it shifted because of the ice pushing it. We re-positioned the deflector but it also has busted slats which can sometimes break off and make their way through the hoses and cause issues with the distributors, pump or float switch. Put ice up to the bin stat bulb and it shut the machine down like it should. Pressures looked good and machine dropped 3 batches of ice with all cubes falling before the next freeze cycle starts. Unit is now working properly but I will order a new cube deflector. ****mileage and travel on work order #179411*** 4/15/19 Unit bin was full and unit shut down when I arrived, Replaced cube guide and emptied some ice from bin to ensure unit is working, unit is working properly at this time.
