Arrived on, 09/20/23 Joe - on unit found pilot generating 600+mv and turning thermopile red. Reduced to 480mv. No longer makes thermopile red hot. Fully operational.
Arrived on, 09/06/23 Dan - Found cooling fan not working and mode selector switch hard to turn. Spoke with Steve and got permission to order parts. Returned on, 09/12/23 Dan - Found unit unplugged. Removed old cooling fan and cooling fan housing. Cleaned housing as well as possible. Installed new cooling fan and reinstalled housing. Moved to front of unit and removed old selector switch and replaced with new switch. Plugged unit and turned on. Tested and verified correct function of new switch and cooling fan. Unit is good to go.
Arrived on, 08/22/23- Joe/Jakob- on unit, disconnected power and removed side panel. Removed and replaced r1 and r2 ice cube relays. Attempted to replace solenoid valve assembly. Found new assembly bracket would not mount properly. Mounted new solenoids on old bracket and installed. Energized and tested. Found module going into lock out sounding alarm. Checked gas pressure after valve. Unit calls for 3.5, actual pressure 3.8. Did not adjust. Disconnected high voltage wire off module. Good spark at module. Removed igniter and tested spark. Found weak spark. Cleaned. Spark slightly better and re-installed. Tested again, unit filled, lit and steamed. Condensate valve opens and closes when necessary. Unit operational would like to replace igniter and ignition cable
Arrived on, 08/10/23- Cory. (Right Side Unit) Spoke with Dave and he stated that when they tried to cook eggs they just burned instantly. Energized unit and found it.would cycle when thermostat was on low setting. Let run for half hour and after that the unit would stop cycling and burners would remain on continually heating. This was with thermostat still in low setting. Unit will need new temp probe and thermostat kit. Will order parts and return. Unable to get picture of data plate because it is missing. Returned on, 08/21/23- Cory. Unplugged unit and removed control panel. Removed old temperature sensor and temperature control. Installed new temp control/sensor. Tested unit and it now cycles on low setting. Unit working as should, okay.
Arrived at location on 2/16/23 - examined unit, found main power switch broken. Jumped out, to test and found unit wouldn't even attempt to light. Solid red LED on the board. Checked limit, tilt switch, found temp probe terminals switched. Swapped back to how they should be and unit heated. Unit heated non stop, won't stop heating. Found potentiometer housing for temp control broken. Board is calling for heat, stops when you shut it off. Limit opened after some time and unit stopped heating. Limit not in the best shape but working. Unit needs temperature control board and power switch. Returned to location on 2/27/23 - removed power, replaced switch and temp control board. Replaced terminal ends on thermocouple. Tested, unit heats and cycles properly.
Arrived at location on 7/1/22 - Examine unit found plastic fitting for chemicals leaking and broken apart will order parts Am is best time for repairs. Returned to location on 7/12/22 - Removed and replaced leaking chemical fitting when testing. found water dripping from under dishwasher looks like leaking from weld between tanks showed John in maintenance and gave him extra chemical fittings and advise him K-D does not weld inside dishwashers.
Arrived at location on 2/14/22 - Oven has bad flame impingement the manufacture was called and states that it needs a new safety thermocouple, pilot and base. These parts can be gotten from bari in New York. Returned to location on 3/15/22 - Shut gas off to unit. Removed old safety valve and installed new Avery valve kit. Tested unit for gas leaks was none pilot lit and held unit main burner cycled on unit tested ok.
Arrived at location on 11/16/21 - Replaced motor and blower wheel also replaced hi/low speed switch reassembled and tested heated to 250 and cycled set at 350 all ok.
Arrived at location on 10/18/21 - Examined middle wells. Left and middle well not heating. Needs element assembly, knobs, and Infinite switch. Right well needs infinite switch and knob. Breaker panel at far end of line. Returned on 10/25/21 - Replaced parts and tested.
Arrived at location on 6/10/21 to check on mixer. Replaced whole locking pin assembly and tested all ok.
Examined gas Fryer unit, found several buttons on computer unresponsive, will order and return. 12/22/20 Replaced controller, turned on verified setup correct for gas non split vat. Unit is operating correctly at this time. **Travel Charges billed on wo# 218027**
Replaced Gas Fryer transformer and tested. Unit burned off excess fiberglass, heated. Filtered.
Examined Steamer unit. unit fills and heats. tightened a few loose body screws. watched unit make steam. noticed no water going down drain. traced issue to drain temp switch not closing. jumped out switch and water began to flow. unjumped switch. bottom pan of unit should be flushed and cleaned. will order part and return. 8/28/20 Removed and replaced thermostat switch on drain box. tested unit. making steam and water coming out of drain. good to go.
Examined Dishwasher unit. wash pump motor humming but not moving. removed motor from housing. motor is seized and will need to be replaced. also found water has been leaking on to conveyor motor. will need to replace tank seals to conveyor motor. can't test unit to see if any other issues exist. will quote repairs Note: quoting additional repairs, closing out this work order.
Quote to repair Southbend convecton oven (top left): replaced temp probe and sensor started unit up HSI to weak to lite flame will order with sensor 1=1183200= HSI 1=1195448= flame sensor 1 hour labor
examined Slicer unit, found knife motor has a burning smell, called globe to I'd motor and start relay, Note: quoted additional repairs, closing out this work order.
Upon arrival found Gas Fryer unit on and working. Pump needed to be reset on Saturday. After this the customer reports that the unit pumped 24+ times without a problem. A blockage may have occurred and worked itself out. If the problem happens again the customer would like a new pump and check for blockage.
Upon arrival found Steamer unit on with side panel off. The old flexible linkages were removed and the new ones were installed with new hose clamps. After this operation was checked and the side panel was put back on. the on off switches are working
Tested the Juice Machine unit and found no power to the on off switch. Found the gfi circut breaker tripped. Reset it and the unit came on. The air filter was blocked so I cleaned it along with the two other units that were working. Showed the manager how to clean the air filters. Tested two pump motors and the pump left motor is bad. Also need another air filter for one of the units because it is badly broken. Need one air filter and one pump motor. 1/29/20 Disassembled and removed the bad pump motor and installed the new motor. The magnet on the motor shaft came apart. The new motor did not come with it. Also found the unit is a lower speed unit that takes the larger impeller and no spray tube. The units will have to be drained to check for the right impellers and to remove the spray tubes. Explained to the asst. manager. Will quote additional repairs, closing out this work order.
Examined Convection Oven unit, opened front panel, found door switch working - have 123v through switch, can hear gas valve opening main flame engaging blower not turning, motor seized, will quote.
Examined Kettle unit, found pressure relief valve setting off 25 psi, weak - removed and replaced valve, tested, brought to rolling boil at setting 5 on temp controller, tested good.
Upon arrival found Steamer unit off and not much water found under unit. Unit was operated and multiple leaks were found. One was found above blower for the steam generator, multiple on the water inlet solenoids. Suggested to replace solenoids and water inlet hoses. Will quote repairs. Note: quoting additional repairs, closing out this work order.
Started Disposer unit, motor spinning, making loud noise, turned off, shut down main power - turned motor from bottom and spins freely, opened snorkel end, no obstructions, blades are good and not hitting the housing when spinning unit by hand can hear and feel the grumble from the bearings - Motor bearings are failing, Contacted manufacturer, replacing unit.
