How do you fix a frymaster fryer near Bloomsburg?

If your Frymaster isn’t working properly it could be any number of issues happening. Here are a couple of the more common issues you may be facing.

  1. Fryer won’t heat properly: Check the power cord first. Reconnect the power cord in case it was knocked out of the outlet. If the drain safety valve is open, ensure it is completely closed. On gas models, make sure the valve is switched all the way to the ON position. Faulty controller - This component must be examined or repaired by a qualified expert
  2. When filtering, the pump either does not start or stops: Check to see if the power cable is disconnected or if a circuit breaker has been triggered.  When the pump motor overheats, the thermal overload switch trips. Allow 20-45 minutes for the motor to cool before pushing the reset switch on the pump. To check for a blockage, close the drain valve and remove the filter pan.

Why does my frymaster fryer say help?

The computer readout “HELP” indicates a heating problem. This could be incredibly dangerous, as it poses the threat of fire, and you should have a professional come look at it ASAP. Turn the fryer off and call K&D Factory Service for prompt assistance.

The maintenance guys had been working on the dishwasher unit and had somethings taken apart. I checked power and I was missing a leg, so I found a bad fuse at this disconnect. The customer had a new fuse so I installed the new fuse and everything was working but the drive motor. I made the corrections on the wiring on the new contactor and overload that were installed before I showed up. The unit is running fine at this time and the maintenance will put the other things back together that they had apart before I came.
